How to check if my return was accepted/rejected?

The Navigation page will display your status report with your acknowledgement status received by the IRS and Government Agency. The Status Report will display the following if applicable: 

• Current acknowledgement status,
• Tax return’s Submission ID,
• Acknowledgement date,
• If your return was rejected, the rejection code, reason for rejection, and help message
• Action Required/ No Action Required

To view e-file status 

1) Log in to your MyFreeTaxReturn.com account

2) Select Work With Filing to view your Status Report on the Navigation page

3) To see if your return has been accepted or rejected the status will display in the Status Report. Select to expand each return filing bubble to find the following:
